IXPE (Irradiated Cross-Linked Polyethylene) is a 2mm extra fine foam underlayment commonly used in flooring installations that is combined with an overlapping vapour barrier of 80 micron HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) for extra moisture protection at the joints. It provides excellent moisture resistance, sound insulation improvement, and cushioning, enhancing comfort and durability. For floating floors such as laminates and engineered woods. Not suitable for SPC or Stone Plastic Composite that already has a bonded underlayment layer. Colour may vary due to supplier specific products.
