Description

This innovative product is a composite acoustic underlay comprised of agglomerated cork & recycled HD EVA, used for impact noise and thermal insulation. It can be used underneath both floating floor types and glue down vinyls! This makes it a truly unique option for acoustic dampening that also significantly softens the foot feel for glue down vinyls bonded to a concrete substrate. For glue down installations, this product is bonded to the screeded substate, and the LVT/LVP is then bonded to this underlay.

Key features:

  • Highly resistant to residual indentation.
  • Produced from Recycled and Natural Materials.
  • Resistant against very heavy loads.
  • Helps to protect floating LVT floors from damage to their click-system joints.
  • Independently tested on EOTA certified laboratory under controlled conditions.
  • Tested according to MMFA/EPLF requirements groups 1+2.

To learn more about underlays, watch this video that our co-founder Barry Doveston hosted for Finfloor. It is a great introduction to the types of underlays and when you would use each type.
